What is the TOEFL®?
The test of English as a foreign Language is a standardized test to measure the English language ability of non-native speakers wishing to enroll in English-speaking universities. It has helped millions of students achieve their dreams to study, work or live abroad. More than 10,000 higher education and government institutions worldwide accept TOEFL® scores in their acceptance or hiring process.
the International School of Aruba is a registered TOEFL® examination center, so not only can you sit the internet-based test here, you can also prepare for it with our very own English teachers. The TOEFL® is a good pathway for students planning to study at an English-speaking university or institution, candidates for scholarships or professional certifications, English-language learners wishing to track their progress, and students and workers applying for visas overseas.

Group and Private Class options
Online private classes 1-on-1 with an instructor can be taken as 10 X 30-minute lessons or 5 X 60-minute classes scheduled when you want.
Group classes will depend on the date of registration, amount of students available, and their schedule compatibility. They will have a maximum of 4 participants. These lessons will be Afl. 350 for 10 X 60 minutes.

What to Expect?
A highly engaging online course using listening tracks and videos, sample questions with live explanations, all delivered through interactive ‘virtual classroom’ software.
There will be short quizzes focused on the reading, listening, speaking and writing portions of the test and you will also review real test materials from past tests.
During the lessons covering speaking, students can receive a score for practice-test responses.
You will also receive useful advice such as how to register for the test, the scoring system, and how to prepare for test day.
A laptop/smartphone or tablet with a microphone is necessary during the classes.
